Starting last Thursday, the annual Summer Street Stroll Farmers Market has returned. The events run from 4-7 p.m. every Thursday at the Barton County Courthouse Square in downtown Great Bend.  

In addition, a variety of food trucks will be available on the third Thursday of the month, including this week.

Barton County Health Department Public Health Educator Katelyn Sigler said the amount of produce available now is limited, “but we are getting back into the swing of things.” They are hoping to gain more vendors this year.

The markets run through Oct. 21, depending on the weather and the vendors’ supplies.
