Great Bend USD 428 administrators, Tim Friess, Great Bend High School principal; Christie Gerdes, Barton County Special Services director; Phil Heeke, Park School principal; and Daryl Moore, GBHS assistant principal; work as a team to lift a hula hoop with two fingers as they participate in Mandt training Wednesday morning at the District Education Center. The Mandt system is designed to safely address the behavior of students in difficult situations.
