A Great Bend teenager was flown to a Wichita hospital following a one-vehicle accident Sunday morning in the 800 block of NW 40 Road.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office reports Chandra Gray, 19, was driving a 2004 Honda Element, a compact crossover sport utility vehicle, that went off the road around 9 a.m.

Gray over-corrected when attempting to return to the roadway. The Honda then rolled 4.5 times, coming to rest on its top.
Gray, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported by Great Bend Fire Department ambulance to Great Bend Regional Hospital and then flown to Wichita via Eagle Medical Services.
Other assisting agencies were the Kansas Highway Patrol and Pawnee Rock Fire Responders.
No information on her condition was available Monday afternoon.
