Teens invited to Anti-Valentine's fun
GBPL logo

Anti-Valentine’s Day is the theme Saturday in the Teen Spot at Great Bend Public Library.

“Are you trying to avoid mushy love poems and red roses this season?” asks Haylee Huddleston in the Teen Services department at the library. “Join us at 2 p.m. in the Teen Spot for some Anti-Valentine’s fun and a movie. Test your precision and coordination in a game of ‘ZAP!’ Work together in teams to see who is the fastest at our ‘Heart Stomper’ balloon-busting challenge and put your heads together to build a mini-catapult to launch your ‘Throw-Away Hearts’ the furthest. We will provide snacks and drinks.”

This event is open to students in grades 6-12.
