Three injured in Stafford County collision

Two vehicles collided at an uncontrolled intersection at 2:32 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, in Stafford County. Both drivers and a passenger where injured, the Kansas Highway Patrol reports.

A 1983 GMC pickup driven by Garrett Rodarmel, 18, Belpre, was westbound on NW 20th St., 2 miles north of U.S. 50, and a 2010 Lincoln MKS driven by Theodore Gingrich, 76, Larned, was southbound on NW 150th Ave. when the vehicles collided. The GMC left the roadway to the left and overturned.

Rodarmel was taken to Stafford County Hospital with undetermined injuries.

Theodore Gingrich and his passenger, Carol Gingrich, 74, Larned, were taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries.

KHP reports none of the people involved were wearing seat belts.
