Three Quilts of Valor awarded on Sept. 30, 2022

United States Navy Engineman Third Class veteran Ronald Heine was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on September 30, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Golden Plains Quilts of Valor awarded quilts to three area veterans on Sept. 30. Quilts were presented at the Great Bend American Legion Post 180.


Ronald Heine


United States Navy Engineman Third Class veteran Ronald Heine was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on September 30, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Melvin Boner


United States Navy veteran Petty Officer Third Class Melvin Boner was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on September 30, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Kassondra Jimenez


United States Army Major Kassondra (Skye) Jimenez was awarded a Quilt of Valor from Golden Plains Quilts of Valor on September 30, 2022 at the American Legion Post 180 in Great Bend. Major Jimenez has served in many countries since 2015 and is currently still serving. The quilt top was made by Margaret Evers, quilting by Amy Schartz Mellor.
