The Barton County Commission will meet Monday morning and the Great Bend City Council will meet Monday evening.

The Barton County Commission will meet at 9 a.m. Monday at the Barton County Courthouse, 1400 Main in Great Bend. The agenda includes letters of support for Kansas Department of Transportation grants for the Rosewood Roots and Wings Foundation and Sunflower Diversified Services.

The Great Bend City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the City Office, 1209 Williams. The agenda includes the presentation of the final version of the Great Bend Better than Great visioning project, a letter of support for a Sunflower Diversified Services Kansas Department of Transportation grant application so the agency can continue its general transportation program and an ordinance allowing micro trucks on streets in city limits.
