CHASE -- The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a motorcycle accident at 2:45 p.m. on Sunday.
A 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan driven by Angela Corder, 38, of Holyrood was eastbound on Avenue L in Chase and lost control and came to rest in the north ditch on the vehicle’s right side.
The passenger on the motorcycle was Wyatt Sawyer, 15, of Holyrood.
Corder was taken to Lyons County Hospital and Sawyer was taken to Rice County Hospital for their injuries.
They both were wearing helmets.
