MILBERGER – May 14 is Rogation Sunday at United Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Milberger. All are welcome to this special service which begins at 10:45 a.m. 

Sharon Custer is the worship leader for this service which will also include honoring mothers, as May 14 is also Mothers’ Day. 

The Rogation service is a time to celebrate the growth and newness of spring and to pray for a favorable growing season for all farmers and gardeners. Rogation days have been celebrated in the churches since 470 AD and are usually held before Ascension.
