Barton County polls have closed and the unofficial early results are in. There are 16,428 registered voters; 2,204 are Democrats, 10,115 are Republicans and 4,109 are nonpartisan.

Only Democrats and Republicans could vote in the primary. The early voting saw 39 ballots cast by Democrats and 483 by Republicans, representing 1.77% turnout for Democrats and and 4.48% for Republicans. Only Republicans had contested races in the primary.
