In December of 2018, the Great Bend Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 Auxiliary presented a $600 check to the Quilts of Valor Foundation and traveled to a local nursing home to present two veterans, father and son, with Quilts of Valor. The quilts were presented to U.S. Army veterans Norman Seller and William Dean Seller. Norman served from 1951-1953 and William served from 1971-1972.
