 LARNED — Larned Correctional Mental Health issued a media release Wednesday, Jan. 8, lifting a previous cancellation of weekend visitation and programs at the facility for Jan. 4-5. The previous order was issued on Friday, Jan. 3 as a proactive measure for the health and safety of inmates, staff and visitors due to ongoing flu activity. All weekend visitation and religious programs will resume at both Central and West units on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020.

Larned Correctional Mental Health facility is a 598-bed multi-custody programming facility, consisting of the Central Unit, which has the capacity to house 310 male maximum/medium-custody offenders, and the West Unit, with a capacity of 288 male minimum custody offenders.
