A Salina man with outstanding warrants was arrested early Monday with suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The Great Bend Police Department reports that officers were dispatched to the 5800 block of Rosewood Drive at 3:28 a.m. to check on a suspicious person walking in the area. Officers located Zachary McKay, 20, in the 1400 block of Patton Road and he matched the description they had been given. McKay was arrested on one warrant from Salina Municipal Court and two warrants from Saline County District Court, for probation violations and failure to appear.
The suspected marijuana and paraphernalia were reportedly found in his possession when he was arrested. McKay was transported to Barton County Detention Center and booked in lieu of bond.
