Water meter project nearing completion

This map shows Great Bend’s different water billing cycles. The installation of automated water meter reading system progressed one cycle at a time. In March of 2023, billing cycle 4 installation was wrapping up and work for billing cycle 1 was about to start. This week, it was announced that the project is nearing completion.
The Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) project for Great Bend’s water meters is nearing completion, Public Works Director Jason Cauley told the City Council this week.
