Woman robbed after being threatened with knife

In the early hours on Friday, a woman was robbed in the 1400 Block of 11th street by unknown subject with a knife. Authorities are asking the public if anyone has any information about the incident to call the GBPD at 620-793-4120.

Authorities are investing an alleged robbery that took place at 2:20 a.m. on Friday after a woman in the area of the 1400 Block of 11th street said an unknown suspect threatened her with a large knife and took her property, Great Bend Police Chief Cliff Couch said.
Great Bend Police officers were dispatched to the area and upon arrival they made contact with a 36-year-old female victim who said that some personal property had been stolen from her.
She said that she had been at 1408 11th St. Officers obtained a search warrant for the residence at that address which they served later that morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
