Great Bend Police arrested two women on multiple charges following the execution of a search warrant at a Great Bend residence just before noon Friday.
According to a GBPD release, at approximately 11:52 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, members of the GBPD executed a narcotics search warrant at 1212 Baker Ave., Great Bend, as part of an on-going narcotics investigation.
During a thorough search of the residence, suspected methamphetamine and items of illegal drug paraphernalia were located inside the residence. Two minor children were removed from the residence and placed with Juvenile Services as Children In Need of Care.
Audra M. Cross, 36, was arrested on charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp, and child endangerment. Daisy A. Cordova, 36, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. Both Cross and Cordova were transported to the Barton County Detention Center and booked in lieu of bond. Cordova was later released on a $10,000 cash/surety bond.
