Late Tuesday, a Great Bend woman was transported to The University of Kansas Health System-Great Bend Campus with what were believed to be minor injuries sustained in a crash with a parked vehicle, according to the Great Bend Police Department.

The GBPD reported that Lori Kempinski, 40, Great Bend, was westbound on Broadway when the vehicle she was driving collided with a legally-parked vehicle in the 3100 block. The crash was reported at 10:18 p.m.

The GBPD noted that Kempinski was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
