Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made 12 ambulance runs on Friday, six Saturday, six Sunday and four Monday.
At 10:41 a.m. Saturday they were dispatched to 1810 Hubbard St. to perform a carbon monoxide check, and at 2:25 p.m. they responded to an automatic alarm at Central Kansas Medical Center that was a false alarm.
At 1:10 p.m. Sunday they performed a carbon monoxide check at 2421 19th St.
They did two CO checks on Monday, one at 3626 Meadowlark and one at 2401 McKinley.

Monday reports:
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a chain link fence at 1919 Harrison St.
Someone stole half a pallet of red brick at 525 Morton St. Loss was $200.
Jace Bowman was driving south on Canterbury St. at noon Monday and lost control on the ice, striking a mailbox and cable box in the 2400 block.
A known person allegedly hacked into a Great Bend resident’s e-mail and Facebook accounts. A notice to appear in municipal court was signed against the suspect.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle in the parking lot at 3101 Washington St.
Barton County Sheriff
Miscellaneous car parts were stolen from Hugo’s Repair, 258 West 2 Road, it was reported Monday.
A two-vehicle accident occurred in the 900 block of McKinley St. over the noon hour Monday.
