Motorcycle hits deer in Stafford County

A man on a motorcycle was injured Saturday after it crashed into a deer in Stafford County. Dennis Dreiling, 56, from Lake City, Kansas, was taken to KU Med Great Bend with a suspected minor injury, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at 7:20 p.m. on U.S. 281 at 150th St. The 1997 Honda motorcycle was traveling west when it struck the deer; the driver left the motorcycle to the left side and the bike came to rest on the roadway. Dreiling was wearing a helmet.
