Great Bend Fire and EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made six ambulance runs on Friday, two on Saturday, and 10 on Sunday. Firefighters responded to one call about a smoke smell in the area, where nothing was found, and one call for a carbon monoxide check.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:48 p.m. Sunday at Dairy Queen, 2302 Main St.

K-9 Niko was used in a traffic stop at 7:36 p.m. at 5210 10th St.

A fight was reported at 11:01 p.m. in the 800 block of Pine Pl.


Barton County Sheriff

The K-9 unit was utilized at 3:10 p.m. Friday at Barton County Detention Center, 1408 Kansas Ave.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 4:26 p.m. on a traffic stop in the 1200 block of SE 50 Rd., Ellinwood.

A traffic arrest was executed at 5:15 p.m. at 24th St. and Adams St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:51 p.m. on West U.S. 56 and SW 100 Ave., Pawnee Rock.

A traffic arrest was executed at 11:48 p.m. in the 200 block of NW 60 Ave.
