Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Tuesday. There were three fire calls.
At 4:42 p.m., units responded to the 1200 block of Hubbard Street, where a deck was on fire. The fire was extinguished before crew’s arrival. The next call came in at 4:45 p.m. for a smoking trash can in the 200 block of Cleveland. The last call came in at 7:56 a.m. Wednesday for a ditch fire near K-96 and 50 Road. The fire was out upon arrival. GBFD worked to ensure hot spots would not reignite.

Theft was reported at 3015 Broadway Ave.
