Great Bend Fire
Firefighters made 6 ambulance runs Monday and 8 Tuesday. There were no fires, but there was one false alarm on Monday.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit an electrical box at the base of a pole at 4:25 p.m. Monday at NE 30 Road and U.S. 281.
A vehicle hit a deer at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of SE 20 Road.
John Murphy, Hoisington, contacted the BCSO at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday and said he and his wife hit a deer a mile east of Hoisington on K-4. Driver was complaining of arm pain.

Great Bend Police
A Great Bend resent on Monday reported someone forging checks on her account.
Vehicles driven by Rebbecca Rebel and Laurie Stoss collided at 2:28 p.m. Monday on 19th St.
A vehicle driven by Marissa Reynolds was backing east on 12th St. at 3:18 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Jewell Radke, who was stopped in traffic in the 1200 block of Garfield.
Theft of a wireless speaker was reported at Presto convenience store, 2337 Washington.
At 12:22 a.m. Tuesday, an officer attempted to stop Reynaldo Martinez on Ninth St. for a municipal warrant. Martinez fled on foot.
At 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, an officer arrested Shayla Richmeier on a Rice County warrant in the 1800 block of 12th St., after the suspect fled.
A fence in 1105 Morphy St. was damaged.
A burglary was reported at 2309 Lakin Ave. Someone stole change and a necklace.
A Great Bend resident reported someone forging a personal check.
