Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Thursday.
At 11:37 a.m. Friday they responded to a vehicle fire at 10th and Odell St. A Jeep Cherokee had died and a bystander alerted the driver to a small amount of fire showing from under the vehicle.
There was a small ditch fire at 1:36 p.m. Friday just west of the flood dike at NW 40 Ave. and NW 10 Road.

Great Bend Police
Vehicles driven by Darrell Keener and Makayla Lofland collided at 4:03 p.m. Thursday on 10th St. Three people were transported by ambulance.
A suspected shoplifter at Walmart was served a notice to appear in municipal court.
