Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Friday, eight Saturday and four Sunday.
At 11:37 a.m. Friday units responded to 10th and Odell St., where a Jeep Cherokee had a small amount of fire showing from under the rear of the vehicle. Insulation was burned off the wires to the fuel pump and the fuel line coming from the fuel tank and been burned. The vehicle was pushed off the road into the parking lot to await a wrecker.
At 1:36 p.m. Friday units responded to NW 40th avenue and NW 10 Road for a grass fire on the north ditch. Several area farmers were helping extinguishing the fire. The fire was quickly extinguished; however, there was some damage to power poles. The fire was started in three different locations in this same ditch. The cause is believed to have been a farm implement being towed behind a pickup that had a possible hot bearing.
At 4:40 p.m. Saturday units responded to 2 SW 30 Road for a grass and shelterbelt fire. Units were on the scene for an hour.
At  7:01 p.m. Saturday units responded to a report of fire in the yard at 1410 20th St., where they found an extinguished fire in a fire pit.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Larry Klusener was making a turn on 10th St. at 8:42 a.m. Friday and struck a stop sign.
Vehicles driven by Janet Dayton and Larry Vogt collided at 10:09 a.m. in the 4800 block of 10th St.
Theft of a bicycle was reported at 906 Ninth St.
A sex offense was reported Friday evening. An officer was dispatched to the Emergency Room at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
A known person was suspected of shoplifting from The Buckle, 1313 Main. Police were called at 2:44 p.m. Saturday and she was served a notice to appear in municipal court. Someone at the store called police at 3:14 p.m. to say she had shoplifted again. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail in lieu of bond.
An individual reported losing a cell phone Saturday night at Discount Laundry, 2201 10th St.
At 5:25 a.m. Sunday, a woman reported being battering by her boyfriend. She was transported to Great Bend Regional and a Attempt To Local (ATL) bulletin was issued for the suspect.
A vehicle driven by Monica Salcido was westbound in the 3200 block of 10th St. at 6:18 p.m. Sunday and struck a vehicle driven by Angela Foltz, who was stopped in traffic.
At 10:54 p.m. Sunday, someone at 5912 Eisenhower Court reported someone outside pounding on the front door. An officer arrested Ramone Hester on suspicion of criminal trespass, felony obstruction, flee and elude, felony possession of marijuana and possession of meth, as well as trafficking contraband into the jail, where he was booked.
At 11:34 p.m. a man reported losing his wheelchair from the back of his pickup at 3806 Broadway Ave.
At 4:34 a.m. Monday, police received a report of theft of prescription medications from 1219 Madison St.
An altercation was reported at 4:40 a.m. at 2216 17th St. An ATL was issued for a woman suspected of aggravated assault, criminal threat and criminal damage to property.
