Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made nine ambulance runs on Friday, three on Saturday, and seven on Sunday.

Great Bend Fire Department responded to a call on Friday about arcing wires in the 500 block of Third Street. Wheatland Electric was notified.

Great Bend Fire Department responded to a grass fire on Sunday in the 200 block of U.S. 56.

Great Bend Fire Department responded to an unauthorized burn reported in the 1500 block of Morphy St. The fire was contained to a burn pit.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:18 p.m. Friday at 10th St. and U.S. 281 bypass, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:58 p.m. at NE 170 Road and Susank Road, Hoisington.

A fire was reported at 11:06 p.m. at SE 60 Ave., and SE 10 Ave., Barton County.

A narcotics violation was reported at 3:38 a.m. Saturday in the 200 block of Main St., Hoisington.

Criminal damage was reported at 11:14 a.m. at NW 70 Ave. and NW 200 Road, Galatia. 

Gunshot wounds were reported at 10:33 p.m. at 23 SE 30 Road, Great Bend.
