The K-9 unit was dispatched to the 3300 block of 10th St. at 12:19 a.m. Friday.
A car chase was reported by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office at 12:23 a.m. Friday, starting at 12th and Eisenhower. The suspect ran on foot in the area of Cottonwood and Aspen. An attempt to locate bulletin was issued for a known male. A K-9 unit attempted to track the suspect. Saturday afternoon, the suspect allegedly took the keys to a vehicle during a theft reported in the 1000 block of Garfield St.
An injury crash was reported at 8:17 a.m. Friday at Adams and Broadway.
A vehicle caught fire at 6:37 p.m. Friday at Playa Azul, 4909 10th St. Great Bend Fire Department responded.
A burglary was reported Saturday morning at Twisted Metal Polishing, 2133 Railroad Ave. Items were taken from a semi that had been parked overnight.
A shed was on fire at 3:05 p.m. Saturday at 4901 Lakin Ave., it was reported Saturday. GBFD responded.
A Great Bend resident reported someone using her identity to file for unemployment.
A burglary in progress was reported at 7:17 p.m. Saturday at 1302 Jefferson St. A reporting party said a subject broke into the residence. The suspect was shot by the homeowner and airlifted to Wichita.
A video game item was reported as “found property” in the 2800 block of 24th St.
A grass fire was reported at 8:42 p.m. Saturday. It was put out by GBFD.
Criminal damage to property was reported Sunday at 1117 Walnut St.
The water company was contacted around 10 a.m. Sunday when water was coming from underground at 24th and Kansas.
Smoke in the residence at 1005 Roxanne Dr. was reported at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. GBFD responded.
A fire investigation is underway at 3215 24th St. At 9:01 p.m. Sunday, a man reported his ex-wife had set his home on fire. Crystal Caruthers was arrested and booked into the Barton County Detention Center on a charge of arson, in lieu of $40,000 bond.
A domestic battery was reported at 9:44 p.m. Sunday at 1210 Hubbard St. A male suspect was arrested.

BCSO assisted the Oklahoma City Police Department at 1:32 p.m. Friday by checking on an address on SE 20 Road, rural Ellinwood.
A non-injury crash was reported at 10:42 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of NW 40 Ave., Hoisington.
Criminal damage to property was reported Saturday afternoon in the 200 block of SW 20 Ave., Great Bend.
A gas leak or spill was reported at 4:43 p.m. Saturday at the Barton County Detention Center, 1408 Kansas Ave., Great Bend.
A theft was reported at 232 SE 30 Ave., Great Bend.
A burglary in progress was reported at 7:17 p.m. Saturday at 1302 Jefferson St., Great Bend.
A non-injury crash was reported at 9:59 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of NW 110 Ave.
A battery was reported at 10:06 a.m. Sunday at 4 NW 30 Road Lot 402, Great Bend. A report was taken for aggravated burglary, aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.
