Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had five ambulance runs Thursday. There was one false alarm.

A warrant arrest was executed at 1:18 a.m. Thursday at Love’s Country Store 1221 10th St. Debra Holder was arrested on three Barton County warrants. 

Officers responded to a domestic call at 6:57 a.m. at 1217 Polk St. Sean Swigert was arrested for aggravated assault.

A narcotics violation was reported at 9:32 a.m. at Great Bend High School 2027 Morton St. 

Criminal damage was reported at 10:32 a.m. at the Washington Early Education Center, 2535 Lakin Ave. 

An overdose/poisoning was reported at 10:48 a.m. in the 1100 block of 8th St. An individual was given a safety. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:40 p.m. at Love’s Country Store 1221 10th St., where the vehicle left the scene. 

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:01 a.m. Thursday at N. U.S. 281 at mile marker 122.

A theft was reported at 2:24 p.m. Thursday at 212 Hoisington Ave. Susank. 

A sex offense was reported at 4:16 p.m. Thursday in rural Ellinwood.

A fire was reported at 11:28 p.m. Thursday at Claflin Tree Dump E. Kansas Highway..
