Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made six ambulance runs Tuesday.

There were no fires, but there were three false alarms caused by system malfunctions.

K-9 Menta was utilized during a traffic stop at 1:34 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway and Morton.

Two Great Bend Municipal Court warrants were served to YaJaira Esparza at 3:51 a.m. at 2401 Paseo Dr. 

Barton County Sheriff’s Office handled a reported narcotics violation shortly before 7 p.m. at Barton County Youth Care, 2212 Forest Ave. The GBPD assisted.

A theft report was made Tuesday morning at the sheriff’s office, 1416 Kansas Ave.

A K-9 unit was called to NE K-156 and East K-4, Claflin, at 10:12 a.m.

A possible structure fire was reported at 10:32 a.m. at Superior Essex, 75 East K-4, Hoisington.

A theft was reported at 1:49 p.m. at 2053 NE 40 Ave., Hoisington.

A K-9 unit was dispatched to West U.S. 56 and mile marker 197, Great Bend, at 4:33 p.m.

BCSO responded to the 6:53 p.m. call at Barton County Youth Care in Great Bend, deploying a K-9 unit.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of East Barton County Road, Great Bend.
