Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had seven ambulance runs Tuesday. Firefighters responded to a garage fire at 9:29 a.m. in the 2300 block of Jackson Street. Upon arrival, they encountered smoke with no fire and minimal damage. 

At 6:41 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a kitchen fire in the 800 block of Coolidge Street. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered no fire and minimal damage.

A criminal trespass was reported at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday at 1116 9th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:12 p.m. at 1702 Main.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:29 p.m. at 2101 25th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:36 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A theft was reported at 2:46 p.m. at Suchy Construction, 2007 Kansas Ave.

A credit card fraud was reported at 3 p.m. at 1121 Baker Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:53 p.m. at 10th and Washington.

A criminal trespass was reported at 8:54 p.m. at Walmart.

Barton County Sheriff

A battery was reported at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at 890 NE 140 Road, Odin.

A battery was reported at 1:55 p.m. at the Barton County Detention Center, 1408 Kansas Ave, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:26 p.m. in the 5600 block of Railroad Ave, Great Bend.
