Great Bend Fire/EMS

Firefighters responded to a report of smoke at 3018 24th Street at 6:12 p.m. Saturday. No fire was discovered.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of 10th Street.

A subject reported being battered by an unknown suspect at 7:42 p.m. Friday at 1801 Adams Apt. A.

A domestic battery was reported at 7:46 p.m. Friday. Jose Montanez-Corez was arrested and booked for domestic battery and later released on a $1,000 bond.

A single vehicle motorcycle crash was reported at 4:13 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Gano Street.

A sex offense case involving a juvenile was reported at 5:59 p.m. Sunday.

A hit-and-run injury crash was reported in the 3300 block of 10th Street at 10:40 p.m. Sunday. The run vehicle was later located.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:22 p.m. Friday at U.S. 281 mile marker 113 near Hoisington.

A possible structure fire was reported at 12:06 a.m. Saturday at 358 SE 140 Ave., Ellinwood.

Criminal damage was reported at 10:01 a.m. Saturday at NE 10 Avenue and NE 10 Road.
