Great Bend EMS/Fire

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made four ambulance runs Tuesday. 

Great Bend Fire Department responded to a passenger car fire at 3:33 p.m. Tuesday at 8th St. and Pine. The engine compartment caught on fire.

Another passenger car fire was reported at 8:21 p.m. in the 300 block of Point Dr. Individuals had extinguished the fire before arriving on scene.

Great Bend Police

Officers responded to a domestic battery at 3:58 a.m. Tuesday in the 3700 block of 24th St. An individual was arrested at the scene and booked in lieu of bond.

A two vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 2:52 p.m. in the 6000 block of Eisenhower Ave.

K-9 Menta was utilized during a traffic stop at 4:03 p.m. in the 2400 block of Railroad Ave. and at 5:49 p.m. at 16th St. and Patton Road. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:54 p.m. in the 2300 block of Washington St.

A burglary not in progress was reported at 3:59 a.m. in the 5500 block of Eisenhower Ave.

Barton County Sheriff

A traffic arrest was executed at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of Monroe St., Great Bend

The K-9 unit was utilized at 4:25 p.m. at 2nd St. and Holland St., Great Bend.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 5:02 p.m. in the 2400 block of Washington St., Great Bend
