Firefighters responded to a call about a gas smell at 5:38 p.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:49 a.m. Thursday at Lakin Ave. and Morton St. 

A two-vehicle crash with minor injuries was reported at 12:08 p.m. at 18th St. and Odell St.

An aggravated assault was reported at 1:14 p.m. in the 1000 block of Harding St. Jason Belcher was arrested on multiple charges. 

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 1:16 p.m. at 10th and Main.

A burglary, not in progress, was reported in the 5800 block of 16th St. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:15 p.m. at 1217 Williams St.

A traffic arrest was executed at 1:21 a.m. Friday after officers responded to a non-injury crash was reported at 12:43 a.m. at 323 Hickory St. A motorist was arrested for driving under the influence, minor in consumption, illegal transportation of liquor, and other violations. 

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:38 a.m. Thursday at South U.S. 281 and SE 20 Road, Barton County.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:40 p.m. at West U.S. 56 and Railroad Ave., Great Bend.

An injury accident was reported at 8:46 p.m. at Railroad Ave. and Patton Road, Great Bend.
