Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to five ambulance calls on Wednesday. Around 4 a.m., firefighters responded to a small fuel spill at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th Street. Less than five gallons of gas spilled at the pump and it was cleaned up with Floor-Dry absorbent. 

Barton County Sheriff’s Office

Officers checked a report of shots fired at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday in the vicinity of Red Barn Pet Products, 30 SE 10 Road.

Great Bend Police

Police responded to a disturbance at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday at Rescare, 2317 Washington St. Robert Isaacs was arrested for battery of a law enforcement officer.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:40 p.m. at Dollar Tree, 3502 10th St.

A light was damaged at Brit Spaugh Zoo, 2123 Main.
