Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had 10 ambulance runs Monday. Firefighters were called to a natural gas pipeline leak at the 100 block of NW 10 Road at approximately 9:27 a.m. Monday and attended the site until the arrival of Kansas Natural Gas Service.

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had five ambulance runs Tuesday. 

Firefighters responded to one false alarm and a report of a grass fire at approximately 12:35 p.m. Tuesday at SE 20 and SE 40 Ave., Great Bend. Upon arrival, firefighters found a shed and a nearby pickup fully engulfed. The shed and pickup were totally destroyed in the fire. Firefighters cleared the scene at 3:05 p.m. Ellinwood Fire Department assisted with the blaze.

A theft was reported 12:01 p.m. at 222 Hickory St.

A criminal threat was reported at 4:18 p.m. at 811 Grant.

An injury crash was reported at 10:09 p.m. at 300 Firethorn St.

A burglary and theft of medication was reported at 6:13 a.m. Saturday at 1908 Seventh St.

A hit-and-run injury crash involving a pedestrian was reported at 2:32 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:03 a.m. Sunday at 224 Main.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:16 a.m. at Walmart.

A theft was reported at 10:17 a.m. at Walmart.

A a K-9 callout and narcotics violation were reported at 4:54 p.m. Sunday at Walgreen’s, 3920 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:14 a.m. Monday at 10th and Morton.

An injury crash was reported at 7:44 a.m. at 12th and Taft.

A narcotics violation was reported at 9:21 a.m. Tuesday at 1806 12th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:21 p.m. at Eisenhower Elementary, 1212 Garfield St.

An injury crash was reported at 3:37 p.m. at 19th and Harrison.

A K-9 callout was reported at 9:42 p.m. at 265 S. Clay St., Hoisington.


Barton County Sheriff

A narcotics violation was reported at 4:18 a.m. Monday at the 10 block of SE 10 Road, Great Bend.

A gas leak/spill was reported at 9:25 a.m. at the 200 block of N Washington Ave., Great Bend.

A structure fire was reported at 3:53 a.m. Tuesday at 61 SE 16 Road, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:50 a.m. at East U.S. 56 and NE K-156, Barton County.

A fire was reported at 12:35 p.m. at SE 20 Road and SE 40 Ave., Great Bend.
