Great Bend Fire

A fire call to Heartland Community Church, 4907 10th St., at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday was a false alarm.

A power line arcing in a tree at 2707 Morton St. was reported at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday. Wheatland Electric was contacted.


Great Bend Police

A sex offense was reported at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday.

A search warrant was executed at 9:07 a.m. at 1102 Hubbard St. The K-9 unit was called out later than morning and officers were at the scene into the afternoon.

A burglary was reported at 1700 Riviera Dr.

A fraud case was reported at 2610 Bonita Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:17 p.m. Tuesday at 2nd and Heizer.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 920 Walnut St.

A theft was reported at Century Villa Apartments, 809 Coolidge St.

A possible burglary in progress was reported at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday in the 1100 block of Hubbard Street. The residence was checked and no one was found inside.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported Tuesday at 1055 NW 85 Ave., Olmitz.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 306 Garfield Ave., Olmitz.
