Great Bend Fire/EMS

A small grass fire was reported at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday at in the 500 block of Locust St. The fire was extinguished prior to the department’s arrival.

They responded to eight EMS calls Wednesday.

A theft of keys to an automobile was reported at 12:36 p.m. Wednesday at 2011 28th St.

A theft of a dirt bike was reported at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday at 2011 28th St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of Polk Street. Michael Johnson was arrested and booked for assault on a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia in lieu of bond

Criminal damage was reported at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday at 2333 Lincoln St.
