Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had 12 ambulance runs Wednesday. No fires were reported. Firefighters responded to a report of a construction company hitting a gas line while digging at 4:11 p.m. Thursday.

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had six ambulance runs Thursday. Firefighters responded to a report of an electrical fire in the 2600 block of 19th St. Upon arrival, there was no fire, but the exterior electrical box was off the house. Wheatland Electric was contacted to restore service.

A traffic arrest was made at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Holland St.

A battery was reported at 9:55 a.m.

A criminal trespass was reported at 11:59 a.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:01 p.m. at Freddy’s Frozen Custard, 3008 10th St.

A theft was reported at 1:53 p.m. Thursday at Dairy Queen, 2302 Main.

A sex offense was reported at 2:51 p.m.

A fraud was reported at 3:57 p.m. at 1214 Madison St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:04 p.m. at McDonalds, 3307 10th St.

A theft was reported at 8:09 p.m. at McDonalds.


Barton County Sheriff

An investigative report was made at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at 508 Cunnife Ave., Pawnee Rock.

A fraud was reported at 3:19 p.m. at 5922 Anchor Way, Great Bend.

A harassment was reported at 5:26 p.m. at 46 NW 48 Road, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:23 p.m. at NW 140 Road and NW 120 Ave., Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:34 p.m. Thursday at NW 30 Ave. and NW 60 Road, Great Bend.
