Emergency Medical Service made nine ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fires. A unit was on standby to assist the Barton County Sheriff’s Office if needed when a search warrant was executed at 8:32 a.m. at 2212 Heizer St.
Great Bend Police Department
A theft was reported Monday morning at Rubes Inc., 5251 9th St.
A battery was reported at 12:31 p.m. at Great Bend Middle School.
Five vehicular crashes were reported in the span of about three hours. Injuries were reported in three of them:
- A non-injury crash occurred at 3:35 p.m. at 2208 27th St.
- An injury crash was reported at 3:49 p.m. at 1723 Jackson St.
- A non-injury crash was reported at 4:21 p.m. at 5th and Grapevine.
- An injury crash was reported at 6:07 p.m. at 18th and Hubbard.
- An injury crash was reported at 6:19 p.m. at 1523 Main.
Barton County Sheriff’s Office
An injury crash was reported at 6:59 a.m. Monday at East Barton County Road and NE 110 Ave., Ellinwood. Kansas Highway Patrol responded; however, the KHP Crashlogs show no injury crash in Barton County.
Search warrants were executed at 8:32 a.m. at 2212 Heizer St. and nine minutes later at 1701 Washington St. in Great Bend.
A narcotics violation was reported at 6:03 p.m. at the Barton County Detention Center, 1408 Kansas Ave.
