Great Bend Police

Area law enforcement was notified at 12:56 a.m. Thursday that Saline County was transporting a combative subject to Larned State Hospital and wanted officers to be aware in case they needed assistance.

A party at Kwik Shop 747, 2334 Main, reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill Thursday morning.

Theft of an unemployment debit card from the residence at 1100 Pyle St. was reported.

A woman’s purse was found in a yard in the 1300 block of Jackson Street. It was collected as found property.

A party at Dillons No. 51, 4107 10th St., reported someone shoplifting several grocery items.

Police assisted the Barton County Sheriff’s Office with traffic control at an injury crash at 11:25 p.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:55 a.m. Thursday on West U.S. 56 at mile marker 194.

A K-9 unit was called out at 9:32 p.m. to NE K-156 at mile marker 136.

A two-vehicle injury crash was reported at 11:25 p.m. in the construction zone in the 200 block of North U.S. 281.
