Great Bend Fire/EMS
Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had five ambulance runs Tuesday. Firefighters were called to a report of a gas leak caused by a malfunctioning appliance at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday at 907 Williams St. The gas supply to the appliance was turned off and homeowners advised. At 3:18 p.m., firefighters responded to an illegal trash burn. At 8:18 p.m., firefighters responded to an alarm from a faulty smoke detector in the 2500 block of Lakin.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:07 p.m. Tuesday at Sherwin Williams, 3112 10th St.
A burglary not in progress was reported at 1:43 p.m. at 918 Stone St.
A criminal threat was reported at 7:22 p.m. at 1216 Jefferson.
