Great Bend Fire/EMS

EMS made eight ambulance runs Wednesday.

There was one false fire alarm which sounded at 10:06 a.m. at 2222 Forest Ave.


Great Bend Police

A battery was reported in the 4100 block of 10th St. at 10:58 a.m. on Wednesday. A male was arrested for battery domestic violence.

A narcotics violation was reported at 2nd St. and Heizer St. at 1:58 p.m. A male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

A BMX-type bicycle was reported stolen from Great Bend Middle School, 1919 Harrison St., at 5:13 p.m.

A narcotics violation was reported in the 900 block of Williams St. at 5:47 p.m. A male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and obstruction.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8th St. and Morphy St. at 5:56 a.m.

 

Barton County Sheriff 

A theft was reported in the 800 block of NE 130 Ave., Claflin, at 9:47 a.m. Wednesday.

A non-injury crash was reported at NE 30 Rd. and NE 10 Ave., Great Bend, at 11:51 a.m. 

A non-injury crash was reported at 3322 Railroad Ave., Great Bend, at 3:07 p.m.
