Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made 10 ambulance runs Tuesday.

There was a false alarm at 11:50 a.m. at the High Rise, 1101 Kansas Ave.

At 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle was overheated behind the fire station. It was called in as a possible fire but no fire was found.


Great Bend Police

Multiple thefts from an individual’s bank account were reported Tuesday.

A phone was reportedly stolen at Expo I, 9810 B-29 Way.

A domestic battery was reported at 6:08 p.m. at 1324 Warner Circle. Sarah Raman was arrested and released on her own recognizance.

At 6:38 p.m. someone reported a male walking in the street in the 1100 block of Grant Street. Phillip Ledesma was contacted and advised to stay out of the street. At 7:15 p.m. he was seen staggering in the roadway in the 1300 block of Polk Street and arrested for pedestrian under the influence.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:28 p.m. Tuesday at 23rd and Adams, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:28 p.m. at 216 NE Baker Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:55 p.m. at 1561 NE 130 Ave., Claflin.
