Search warrant nets drugs, two arrests

A Great Bend man and woman were arrested on drug charges as the result of a search warrant executed Tuesday in Great Bend.

Great Bend Police Chief Steve Haulmark reported that GBPD officers executed a search warrant at a residence located at 2011 Madison St., at approximately 10:25 a.m. on Nov. 14. Officers located and apprehended Roy Cline, 58, and Amy Marvin, 37 inside the residence as the search commenced.

Officers located quantities of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, and evidence of distribution.

Cline was booked on charges of distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no tax stamp, in lieu of $100,000 cash or surety bond.

Cline was also booked on two active Barton County District Court warrants for distribution of methamphetamine stemming from an ongoing investigation involving drug trafficking in the city of Great Bend.

Marvin was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp. She was booked in lieu of $10,0000 cash or surety bond.
