Motorists from Stafford and Hutchinson were injured Tuesday in a three-vehicle collision in Reno County.

Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 7:43 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 50 and Mohawk Road.

A 1995 tractor-trailer driven by Dean William Melton, 69, of Langdon, was northbound on Mohawk Road crossing U.S. 50. An eastbound 1990 Oldsmobile driven by Michael Lee Gould, 27, of Stafford, struck the trailer and a third vehicle, a 2005 Ford F-150 in the right lane driven by Natalie Lynnette Galliart, 20, of Hutchinson, then struck the trailer as well.

Langdon had no apparent injury. Gould and Galliart suffered what were believed to be serious injuries. Gould was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita and Galliart was taken to Hutchinson Regional Hospital.

KHP reports all three drivers were wearing seat belts.
