Two simultaneous search warrants executed by the Great Bend Police Department Wednesday morning resulted in the arrests of four individuals on multiple drug and weapons charges, the department announced Thursday.
According to a GBPD release, at approximately 10 a.m. Wednesday, GBPD officers executed the two residential search warrants for possessing and distributing illegal narcotics.
The first search warrant was served at 404 Plum St., where officers located 31-year-old Shawna Contrerez inside the residence. She was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of stolen property. She was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
The second search warrant was executed at 1014½ Stone St. In the course of the search, officers located and seized marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. 26-year-old Ashley Robertson and 40-year-old Jacob Parks were arrested at the scene. Robertson was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond. Parks was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felon in possession of a weapon. He was booked into the Barton County Jail, and later released after posting a $10,000 bond.
Later Wednesday, GBPD officers located 28-year-old Robert Crawford in the area of 27th Street and Morton Street. He was arrested for distribution of methamphetamine associated with the search warrants executed earlier in the morning. He was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
