KHP patch

Two Gorham residents were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Thursday afternoon in rural Russell County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2002 Ford F150 driven by 69-year-old Sheila Bosch was northbound on 176th Street about 4 miles south of Gorham around 1:30 p.m. and turned right onto 4-Corners Road. A 2005 Ford 150 driven by 72-year-old Ray Bosch, also of Gorham, was northbound on 176th Street behind the Sheila Bosch vehicle. Sheila Bosch then attempted to make a U-turn in the intersection. While Sheila was making a U-turn, Ray’s vehicle struck the driver’s side of other truck.

Sheila was hospitalized with what were believed to be serious injuries. Ray’s injuries were believed to be minor. KHP reported both were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
