The video itself received 1,326 upvotes and 102 comments in three days.

BuzzFeed shared the video on in a report on Tuesday.

Many of us have seen a deer caught in headlights, but how many have seen deer pause at a stop sign, look both ways and cross? asked the Bashaw Star, a local news outlet in Canada.

The video received welcomed praises from Reddit commenters, according to the Star.

Deer are smart enough to obey stop signs now only if the drivers in my neighbourhood had the same skill, wrote one commenter.
