HOLYROOD – Brian Lee Ernst, 58, died Jan. 19, 2016, at his home in Holyrood. He was born Dec. 4, 1957, in Hoisington, the son of Robert Lee and Irma J. (Steinert) Ernst.
Brian was a 1975 graduate of Hoisington High School. He  had a self-employed business fixing computers.
He married Nora Gorman and they later divorced. He then married Ellen Gaye Baldwin on March 7, 1992, in Great Bend.  
Survivors include: His wife of the home; a daughter, Amanda Kelly and husband Joe of Berea, Kentucky; stepson, Gregg Kern of Olathe; a brother, Michael Ernst and wife Debra of Hoisington; a sister, Cathy Weber and husband Bill of Pawnee Rock; and four grandchildren, Crystal Dawson, Seth Kelly, Damian Kelly, and Kennedy Laine Kern.  
A private family inurnment will be held in Golden Belt Memorial Park and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
