WICHITA — Curtis D. Schlegel, 73, was born April 20, 1949, in Great Bend, Kan., and passed away Jan. 1, 2023, in Wichita, Kan. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Schlegel; parents, Ralph and Carrie Schlegel; and grandson, Dario Gloria, Jr. Survivors include his daughters, Katina Baker (Robert) and Saundra Gloria (Dario Sr.); grandchildren, Aubreanna Schlegel, Emilio Paco Gloria, Michael Baker, Montana Baker, Gabriella Baker, and Curtis Baker; and eight great-grandchildren. 

Visitation with family present will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway.
