Curtis Lee Hoffman 1962-2013

Curtis Lee Hoffman, 50, died July 8, 2013 at Claflin. He was born July 23, 1962 at Great Bend, the son of LeRoy and Nancy (Miller) Hoffman.
He married Kathi Lynn Henning Aug. 6, 1983 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend. He was a self-employed contract pumper.
Curtis was a lifetime Barton County resident and a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend. He was a devoted husband, dad and grandpa.
Survivors include wife Kathi Lynn Hoffman, of the home; his father, LeRoy Hoffman and wife Donna, Mount Vernon, Mo.; grandmother, Mary A. Hoffman, Claflin; parents-in-law, Bob and Vera Henning, Great Bend; three daughters, Katrina Hickel and husband Jordan, Great Bend; Heather Hoffman, Wichita; and April Myers, Claflin; sister, Jamie Bieberle and husband Lee, Claflin; two brothers, Chris Hoffman and wife Kathy, Claflin and Tracey Hoffman and wife Kelly, Claflin; brothers-in-laws, Daryl Henning and wife Kelly; Dale Henning and wife Joan; Dean Henning and wife Kristi; sisters-in-law, Kala Gwin and Dale; Karen Parsons and husband Rick; Kristi Lytle and husband Evan; five grandchildren, Karli Myers, Kaiden Hoffman, Mack Hickel, Gage Myers, and Kate Hickel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Hoffman; and son-in-law, Kebby Myers; and three nephews, Josh Gaunt, Christian Parsons and Memphis Gwin.
Vigil Service is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Ted Stoecklein officiating. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North, Great Bend.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or Grandchildren’s Education Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
